  15. THE MOVIE MACHINE PRO
  16. This board combines four features on one board: VIDEO overlay,
  17. TV-Tuner, framegrabber and VIDEO editing. The Movie Machine Pro
  18. digitizes video regardless whether the source is an external
  19. composite video signal or the internal TV-Tuner. The live video may
  20. be sized or positioned on the computer screen. The digitized image
  21. can be stored at any time as TIFF or printed out for further uses. No
  22. scanner could be faster! Naturally you may put any of the input
  23. signals or stored images back to video. Connect your local antenna or
  24. cable to the Movie Machine Pro and you have Instant-TV on your
  25. desktop. The fully software controllable TV-Tuner provides you with
  26. live news, sport magazines or simply comics whenever you click on
  27. your TV icon. The smart TV software offers ready-to-run channel
  28. tables from over 120 countries equipped. Want some more? Just start
  29. the automatic program search which will find your favorite TV
  30. station. The software option MMStudio provides you with your own
  31. Private Desktop Video Studio. You can "cut", "mix", or "zoom" any
  32. combination of  the live video sources and see the instantaneous
  33. results on a video monitor or record them to a VCR. A realistic image
  34. of a T-Bar controls effects like "wipe", "flip", and "move".  In
  35. addition, composing images into the live video is supported by
  36. color-, chroma- and luma-keying. With the MMEffectEditor you may even
  37. create your own effects for use in the MMStudio. In combination with
  38. the CODY board you can record and play back movies from and to video.
  39. The CODY digitizes a live video source directly onto your harddisk.
  40. Once digitized you may use it in NEXTIME, edit or play it back to
  41. video again.

  63. The Basic Package
  64. Three in one: the Movie Machine Pro combines live overlay, tv-tuner
  65. and a frame grabber on one ISA PC card. Movie Machine Pro digitizes
  66. video in YUV 4:1:1 true color. You'll be able to display videos at
  67. arbitrary sizes up to full screen resolution. Take your VCR or any
  68. other external video source for your multimedia presentations, or
  69. just enjoy the integrated, cable capable TV tuner which also supports
  70. automatic channel search and an unlimited number of channels. Not
  71. included is the hardware.

  85. The optional MMStudio software will turn your computer into your
  86. private video studio. Select any of 3 video sources for mixing  and
  87. cutting your videos. Using a T-bar you will be able to comfortably
  88. control more than 30 sophisticated digital video effects like flip,
  89. zoom, negative, wipe, scroll, chroma or luma keying. Add or mix still
  90. images smoothly for video documentations, graphic charts for business
  91. presentations, or text for titling your holiday videos. Record the
  92. final takes in high quality on your VCR and you will have finished an
  93. amazing presentation, company video, or surprise for your family and
  94. friends with startling effects in your private videos.

  99. Forget about video tapes, rewinding, and piles of video cassettes.
  100. The CODY option for Movie Machine Pro offers completely digital video
  101. editing. Up until now nonlinear cuts directly from hard disc were
  102. reserved for professional video studios. The CODY option enables you
  103. to directly store and retrieve videos from your hard disc using
  104. motion JPEG. Being NEXTIME compatible, the CODY option will give you
  105. the next dimension of video editing under NEXTSTEP. The software
  106. VDOrecorder controls the add on hardware (Motion-JPEG board) and
  107. allows the cross conversion from and to NEXTIME. Not included is the
  108. hardware.

  119. Two different boards and of course also different specs. Which board
  120. is the right one for your application? If tuner support and NEXTIME
  121. recording is your main problem, you should use the Movie Machine Pro.
  122. If you have to grab high quality images and need custom video
  123. development we recommend to use the Screen Machine II.
